Elk Avenue Brewing in Crested Butte

Not great but not bad either. Service is a little slow. Definitely a locals favorite. I tried a flight of 4 beers which were only $2 each. Not much flavor to most of them. The brown ale was my favorite and went well with the fried pickles and hand cut fries we ordered. Waiter said he spent hours cutting them himself. The building itself is pretty cool with pool tables and a small but nice deck.

My friends and I headed to Eldon in search of some good beer and food for dinner. We found both here. The variety of beer was excellent and the food portions were large. We were enjoying the live music until several people started vaping by the stage area. It ruined the experience for us and we left.

Awesome beer, burgers hit the spot after a day on the mountain. Bartenders know the beer and are attentive.

Good place for a beer and burger. I had bacon cheeseburger and a beer for $17- not bad! Plus they have live music on weekends.Enjoy it.

Great beer and food. Attentive helpful staff. Sample the beers they're great. Had the grilled cheese with bacon and gouda and a salad for 9 bucks salad was loaded with candied walnuts and craisins. So good!

We were there for DragBingo and it has been the best time my wife and I had in a long time. The staff rocked!!! Down to earth straight up people. If you are stuck up and up tight do not go here because you will have too much fun your head will spin.

The ONLY bartender on duty was slammed, but she killed it. It was great beer and food and service! Highly recommend!

Nice, subtle joint. They're grub menu has changed since Google last archived it. Fish and chips are solid. Cheese curds are plentiful and just the right kind of salty. Their winds are probably the big surprise, particularly the Sriacha Stout and/or teriyaki ones.

Cool place to head after hitting the slopes. This is on the 2nd floor of an older building in downtown. A "cozy" place with a few tables and bar. They brew their own beers..I tasted most and fairly good. Bar menu for food. We sat at the bar and had good service. Good place to experience the vibe of the town.

It’s a nice place and the food was good. The beer was good. The service was good except for that they will not tell you when they are about to tack on extra charges. Like for cheese or other little things that they shouldn’t. They were out of french fries and the waiter offered me something else to replace it but didn’t tell me he was going to charge me for it.

Packed local spot. The bartenders are awesome, just might take a minute to get your drinks. The beer is great!

We came for a drink and some people watching before heading to dinner. They have a great little outdoor seating area on the second floor. We enjoyed the Eddyline blackberry kettle and Eldo’s dessert menu chocolate PB. The service was on point and the patio seats facing the main strip were perfect.

Cute little upstairs brewery with balcony over looking downtown. Great friendly atmosphere in Crested Butte's ski town. Although I didn't stay for a bite, a lot of food options, and happy hour pricing on drinks. Novak was $5, PBR, and a shot of Jim Beam. Local and guest craft beers on tap. Dog friendly.

Very nice brewery. 5,6 and 7 dollar pints. Nice balcony too!

Waste of time dive bar. The building is uniquely positioned on the main drag with a great view from the elevated veranda, but the staff is painfully slow and I think they serve homebrew kit beer.

Stopped in for a couple of their craft beers. Sat on their balcony with views of the town and mountains. The beers were good and food others were having looked good. Next time in town we need to stop by for lunch or dinner.

Small place used to come regularly when living in cb. Maybe i look like an outsider now but service has gone down hill charging cover for a band that i didnt come to see is crazy and accusing people of not tipping is even crazier never again. Will spend my time elsewhere.

This place is fantastic. The servers are friendly, and the beer is unlike most that I’ve had at other breweries. It’s very impressive and full of masterful flavor. The atmosphere is great, and it makes you feel like you’re a local just stopping in for a beer and some grub. I personally spoke to the owner as well. I admired his passion for this place and his future plans of renovating it. This brewery will be a destination if it’s own soon enough.

Classic CB dive. The house beer is meh at best, but the balcony vibe overlooking Main Street is the attraction anyway. Inside is dark and basic, couple of pool tables. Music stage in the back hosts some decent acts.

Great staff, food was killer

On a cold day we enjoyed an Elk Burger, and some excellent brewed beer. Also met the owner and it was a very nice enjoyable visit.

Empty, divey, decent food, great upstairs balcony.

Beer is brewed in-house. I ordered Amber, he ordered IPA. The IPA was warm and just OKAY. The​ Amber was NOT good at all. Don't come here thirsty and looking for good beer because your thirst will not be quenched.

Saturday night of presidents day weekend and they were out of all of their own beers. $5 cover for a band we didn't even see start playing because we didn't want to buy bottled beer from out of state. Minimal seats and smelled like a day old college kegger... and usually I'm into that sort of place.
